Music with Mr. Vince
Programs for Children & Aging Adults
Music with Mr. Vince is an outreach program with the mission to enhance and enrich the lives of people in our community through music interventions and education. The greatest joy is sharing music with others, especially those with disabilities or in the later stages of life, and bringing music education to those who may not otherwise have access. My goal is to continually share music, laughter and stories with everyone from children to aging adults. I have also worked extensively with children living with developmental disorders such as Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Aspergers Syndrome; and aging adult with Dementia & Alzheimer's. Clients include: The Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Library, The Arts & Science Council of Charlotte, Central United Methodist Church of Monroe, Queens University Music Therapy Dept., Easter Seals Cerebral Palsy Center, Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte, Union County Public Schools, Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Schools and numerous adult care facilities.

I work at the public library, and have invited Vince to play music for older adults and seniors with Dementia/Alzheimer's it's amazing to witness his interactions with this population, as he has a way of bringing his audience to life." -Amrita S.
